Breakfast Lunch Dinner
In the early 2000s, food insecurity was a growing concern. Though to be honest, no one saw how dire things would be more than 20 years later. At the time, Daily Bread Food Bank not only had a need for financial and food donations, but faced a critical shortage of volunteers. This was the 1st part of the food bankβs Out Of Home campaign.
How some in Toronto plan their next meal
Helplessness. Thousands feel its gnawing effects every day.
For the hungry, it comes from the frustrating uncertainty surrounding their next meal. For us, it comes from the ongoing task of sharing the food we have. For you, it comes from doubting your own ability to make a difference.
You can. It takes a variety of skills to end hunger in Toronto. From delivering food to public education - there are many ways you can help us.
End your helplessness. Volunteer at the Daily Bread Food Bank.
